The Sunday Snapshot vol. 1

The Sunday Snapshot vol. 1

The Sunday Snapshop will be quick reviews and swatches of products I've been loving, purchased recently or sent to me for consideration that I feel don't require a full post.

So you can get in, get out and get on with your day.

Bobbi Brown Skin Weightless Powder Foundation in shade Warm Ivory

This powder foundations almost feels like a cream foundation that easily blends into the skin.  My shade has just enough of a yellow tone that it cancels out any redness.  Plus I can build it up for more coverage without it becoming cakey. It's doesn't look powdery on the skin and stays smooth throughout the day. I would swatch it but you wouldn't see it because it's the same color of my skin. Because you know, foundation kinda works like that.

Bobbi Brown Metallic Eye Shadow in Cognac

I've been using Bobbi Brown's Metallic Eye Shadow in the shade Cognac for years.  This is probably my favorite eye shadow of all time which is a pretty bold statement.  I wear this to deepen the outer corner, smoke out my lower lash line or wear all over the lid for a more wearable smoky eye. The finish has a slight sheen to it and I don't experience any fallout. This also lasts all day without fading or creasing without a primer. Bobbi Brown's Metallic Eye Shadows are so buttery smooth that even the most novice of makeup wearers could blend them out.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream

I'm not one who used an eye cream on a regular basis but when I got the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream as a gift with purchase it quickly made a believer out of me. I use this every night before bed and I've noticed quite a difference in how my eyes look in the AM. No puffiness and my under eyes stay hydrated throughout the day.

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is my go to when my skin is looking and feeling dry.  This primer and moisturizer in one instantly hydrates my skin and creates a smooth canvas for my makeup. It isn't tacky and as an added bonus contains vitamins A, C and E.  This does have a mild citrus scent that quickly fades but if you are sensitive to scent I would pick up a sample to make sure.

Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisturizing Cream

I only wear this face cream at night as I prefer a gel-based moisturizer during the day time.   Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisturizing Cream is just that as it's lightweight creamy texture doesn't feel heavy on the face and sinks into your skin. In the morning my face feels smooth and plump. As with many of Bobbi Brown face products it does have a light scent that quickly fades.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Golden Bronze

The Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick is a product that I don't have to fuss with. I simply swipe it across my lid a few times blend out with a finger and I'm good to go. It stays put all day without migrating or creasing.  And the shade a beautiful coppery tone.  Perfect for summer!

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Beige

I have been trying to track this shade down forever and it was definitely worth the wait. The Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Beige gives your skin the most beautiful sheen with absolutely no glitter. I like to use this as a bronzer/blush to add just a hint of color to my cheekbones.
