The Sunday Snapshot vol. 2

The Sunday Snapshot vol. 2

Summer in New England has officially arrived!  It's hot, it's humid and the last thing I want to do is to have to fuss with makeup. But I still want to looked pulled together.

Here are the products I've had on repeat for the past month

Hourglass Illusion® Hyaluronic Skin Tint

I'm absolutely head over heels with the Hyaluronuc Skun Tint from Hourglass. This tinted moisturizer not only evens out skin tone without drying out my skin but provides an SPF of 15. The texture is very mousse-like and blends flawlessly into the skin.  The coverage is between light and medium but you can definitely build it up without it becoming cakey and lasts throughout the day even in hot, humid weather.  I wear the shade Ivory and it's available in 12 shades.

Glossier Haloscope Highlighters in Topaz & Quartz

To add some dimension I've been rocking the new Haloscope highlighters in both Topaz and Quartz. I'll use Topaz in the hollows of my cheeks and my lids and the Quartz shade on the top of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, forehead and chin. The texture of both products is very thin and blends really well into the skin so it doesn't look like you're wearing anything at all. Neither one accentuated pores and wore well on me all day.  Both the Haloscope highlighters add the most subtle dewiness to my skin without looking shimmery or glittery.

Tarte Skinny SmolderEyes Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner

For my eyes I've been lining the upper and lower lash lines and smudging it out using the Tarte Smoldereyes in the shade Sunstone Bronze.  I would say this particular liner is on the softer side and you do have a few minutes to blend it out before it sets.  It gives my eyes some shape and this is the only liner I have ever used that didn't transfer or migrate throughout the day.  I can even wear it on my waterline.

Jordana Twist & Shine Moisturizing Balm

I've been reaching for the same lip product over and over for the past month.  It's the Jordana Twist and Shine Moisturizing Balm in Honey. This tinted lip balm not only leaves a stain on the lips but will last through a meal. All of the Jordana Twist and Shines have a very smooth texture that do not emphasize lip lines. This product gets a huge thumbs up because there's no need to continuously reapply and doesn't dry out my lips.
